This month, our talented developers participated in AWS GameDay, which was held in Stockholm. GameDay is a cooperative learning exercise that tests skills in implementing AWS solutions to solve real-world problems in a gamified, risk-free environment. A hands-on opportunity for technical professionals to explore AWS services and team collaboration.
Two development teams
The conference's approach is an unconventional learning format compared to other learning formats. Ambiguity and non-prescriptive guidance give teams the flexibility to think creatively as they navigate a wide range of technical challenges.
Spir Group with Ambita participated with two teams during this conference and both teams ended up on the podium. Team Infoland which consisted of Ole Berg, Jo Dybdal, Andris Nolendorfs, Alexander Bøhler, Tuan Minh Nguyen, Stian Hauge, Jan Alfred Hegg and Erik Martin Svee. A technical platform team "Guardrail Gangsters" consisting of Dennis Hernando Knudsen, Philippe Haavik and Jarl Totland.

First and second place to our developers
International competition
This competition is organized at an international level with participants from all over the world. The Infoland team came second in the world and the technical platform team "Guardrail Gangsters" came in an impressive first place.
